Ipod Nano 1st Generation
Compared to its predecessor, the latest iPod has had a significant change in its design. Unlike other MP3 players, the iPod Nano makes all other MP3 players look chubby and awkward looking. This restructuring has led to the iPod play a wide variety of games, listen to music and play videos.
The iPod Nano is truly the best thing out there on the market.
In size, the Nano fits into the palm of the hand. It is just 0.25 inches thick and only measures 2.75 x 2 inches. The face plate remains unchanged from it predecessors. The back and the sides are well rounded and glossy, with a chrome enclosure. The Nano also has room for a USB port, along with a headphone jacket and a hold switch.
The most impressive feature of the Nano is the larger and brighter screen. The 320 x 240 video resolution provides excellent sharp images which are comparable to most digital monitors. The video play back on the iPod Nano is second to none. This remarkable miniaturized device offers video feature which rival many digital videos.
After having complaints about the previous iPods, the Apple Nano has significantly improved its menu configuration. The split screen menu offers users easy access to their programs and files. The Cover Flow system has made browsing easier but when the Nano is loaded with many files, there is a slight lag.
The major downfall of the Nano is the make up of the screen. The plastic screen may not be durable and is also prone to scratches.
The iPod Nano has lived up to all the hype and offers excellent quality entertainment at a low price. The Nano can be bought for $ 199 which is far cheaper than the available MP3 players its size and capability
