Ipod Nano 2nd Generation
The 2 inch display screen has a 320 x 240 resolution and displays brighter and sharper images than all previous iPods. The stylish Nano has a polished stainless steel out surface, has a very thin configuration and can fit on the palm of the hand
The user surface though tiny, affords all the qualities of a decent digital video player. Some individuals may not like the wide body or the small scroll wheel but one has to understand that there are size limitations. These small imperfections have on the other hand allowed for a better quality video and color flow menu to be built in.
Despite the major revisions that the Nano has undergone, the sound quality is moderate. However, the Nano iPod does offer more than 20 equalization presets to select from, ranging from delicate improvement to spectacular bass boosting.
One also has to remember that unlike the iPod classic, the Nano iPod has a more fragile plastic screen, which is scratchable and the durability still remains in question
There are some who even complain that the Nano is slightly wider and does not allow for easy placement in the pocket or even easy to hold in the hand while jogging.
While the Nano is not for everyone, there are some who may like it. The individuals who have older iPods from past generations may find the Nano appealing- the Apple iPod Nano is not a bad device to have. The thin device may not have all the features for everyone, but for the money, it still provides the best music and video quality. And is fairly cheap.
